Tree Decorating and Holiday Crafts with Goats
Join us at Pause & Pivot Farm for a unique way to kick off the holiday season. We'll get into the celebratory spirit by decorating evergreen trees using dried flowers and other natural items, then we'll give the trees to our herd of goats to enjoy! Watch them nibble on their new holiday decor while you participate in a family-friendly holiday craft.
There will be warm beverages and snacks for sale and our Barn Shop will be open throughout the event.
This is a one-of-a-kind farm event that's sure to bring holiday joy and laughter to all.

Hot Chocolate Run + Farm Potluck
In the spirit of community and connection, we're building a team for the 2024 Hot Chocolate Run to benefit Safe Passage because we believe that everyone deserves to be safe, healthy, and happy.
We'll meet up for the 5k Fun Run or the 3K walk, so please join us for whichever one appeals to you most!
If you can't make it, please consider making a donation and then joining us for a potluck at the farm the afternoon after the event.

Caroling and Cocoa with the Animals
Join us and special musical guests (too to be announced!) as we sip warm beverages and sing to the animals of Pause & Pivot Farm.
We’ll have cocoa and treats for sale and will provide printed sheet music so that you and your loved ones can help us serenade the animals at the farm with holiday music. Then, warm up in our heated barn while you enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Ashfield Fall Festival
Visit our booth at the Ashfield Fall Festival October 12 & 13th. In our opinion, this is one of New England’s sweetest fall festivals. Not only is it at the peak of foliage, but the event’s activities support the town’s scholarship fund and many local organizations.
This will be our 3rd year under the big tent at the festival. We choose this event each year to unveil some new items from our woodworks and some of our favorites like charcuterie boards and small furniture.
Bring the family and make a day of it, but don’t forget to stop by and see us!
Season Celebration (at Oliver's Farmstand in Goshen)
Join Pause & Pivot Farm and Oliver’s Farmstand to celebrate the season at a community event featuring farmers, producers and artisans from around the region. This free festival-like event features food trucks, a vendor lawn with locally made and grown goods, live music, children’s activities, and much more! We look forward to seeing you in the center of Goshen, right off of Route 9, for a day of celebration on September 14th.

Goat 30: Harmony on the Farm featuring the Heart of the Valley Chorus!
Join us for a very special “Goat 30” on July 18th featuring the Heart of the Valley Chorus!

Join us for a very special “Goat 30” on July 18th! During this casual hang out at the farm, we will welcome the Heart of the Valley Chorus, an all women’s voices a cappella choir that has been entertaining in the Pioneer Valley for over 40 years. Their membership spans the Valley with members from Springfield, Holyoke, Easthampton, Belchertown, Hadley, South Hadley, Leeds, and Florence. Singing in the barbershop style, their musical selection will include all occasion pieces to celebrate summer and remind us that music adds something special to our lives.
Reserve your group’s spot at this event and start planning your picnic (or plan to arrive a little early and shop the fresh salads, charcuterie, and beverages we’ll have for sale in the barn shop during the event!)

Florence Farmers Market - Opening Day!
Join us at the Florence Farmers Market for its 29th season! This producer-direct market happens every Wednesday from May 1 - October 29 in the Florence Civic Center Parking Lot. Find all the veggies, meat, fruit, flowers plants and baked goods your heart desires, and while you’re at it, meet some of the friendliest producers in our area!

The Maple Experience at Pause & Pivot Farm
Join us for a different kind of maple season experience: A small batch, hands-on look at our small scale operation, with a delicious breakfast at the farm.
First, join us for breakfast laced with maple syrup that is made here, then follow along as we show you how we collect sap by hand, boil, and finish syrup. This is a great experience for families, couples, and those seeking a more intimate and interactive celebration of maple season as we will only be offering 20 tickets per seating.

Ashfield Fall Festival
Known as “A little festival in the hills”, this quintessentially New England fall festival spans two days and supports the Ashfield Scholarship fund. this fund, awards scholarships for educational purposes based on financial need and also provides funding to Ashfield organizations in need of funds to help better serve the community.
Pause & Pivot Farm will have a booth under the tent at the Town Common featuring pieces from our Woodworks. We’ll have everything from small functional kitchen items to small furniture.
Season Celebration at Oliver's Farmstand
Back for its second year, Oliver’s and Friends Season Celebration is coming to Goshen! Pause and Pivot Farm co-hosts this event alongside Oliver’s to showcase our vibrant farming and artisan community in western Massachusetts.
Stop by for lunch from well loved local food truck Crepes Nanou, enjoy music by local band Sidetracked, peruse booths hosted by local artisans, and meet the farmers and producers who make this area such a special place to live (and eat!).
A highlight of this event is the charitable component. Each year we select a beneficiary to participate in the event and benefit from an on site raffle. This year the event supports It Takes a Village in Huntington. This important organization offers free post partum and early childhood support to families in Western MA including the village closet, a family focused donation and distribution center offering vital supplies 100% free of charge for families with no income or residency requirements.

The Northampton Saturday Farmers Market has been serving the community for over 40 years! This is a vibrant market in downtown Northampton every Saturday April-Nov. Discover locally grown fruits and vegetables, fresh eggs, syrup, jams, plants, baked goods, and more.
Come visit us and meet some local farmers!
We attend the Saturday market every other weekend throughout the summer months.
